How It’s Made (process)

  1. Standardization: Fresh milk is clarified, standardized for fat/protein, and pasteurized.

  2. Primary concentration: Vacuum evaporation concentrates milk solids to target total solids.

  3. Spray drying: Atomized into hot air for rapid drying to free-flowing powder; optional instantizing.

  4. Cooling & sieving: Powder cooled, sieved/granulated for flow and dispersibility.

  5. Standardization/QA: Fat %, moisture, scorched particles, WPNI/heat class, and microbiology verified; COA issued.

Suggested Dosage

General: 1–25% w/w; trial recommended.

By application

  • Dairy mixes/yogurts/ice cream: 2–12%

  • Bakery (on flour): 2–8%

  • Confectionery fillings/coatings: 3–12%

  • Milk chocolate/compounds: 10–25% (formula-dependent)
