How It’s Made (process)

  1. Feedstock harvest: Exudate “tears” from Acacia senegal/seyal trees are collected and cleaned.

  2. Primary production: Dissolution and coarse filtration to remove bark/sand; forms a clarified gum solution.

  3. Precipitation/separation: Further filtration/centrifugation and decolorization to polish and standardize grade.

  4. Drying & milling: Spray-dry to powder or dry and break into solid chunks; sieve to target mesh.

  5. Standardization/QA: Viscosity, ash/minerals, microbial limits, and color verified; COA issued.

Suggested Dosage

General: 0.1–10% w/w; trial recommended (system & grade dependent).

By application

  • Beverage emulsions/clouds: 1–6%

  • Confectionery (jellies/panning/fondant): 2–8%

  • Bakery glazes/icings: 1–4%

  • Pharma syrups/lozenges: 2–10% (per formula)
